What is going on exactly? It ain't funny!

So I posted yesterday about my lost companion cube. Dark Blue. Had a really hard time and finally decided to come back to the game. My brother kindly offered to give me his one and only cube. He dropped it in my tavern. I picked it up, went to item box to check. It was there. A Green Cube. Found another trade logged on once again for the first time since I seen the cube and realized its gone. AGAIN! Is this meant to be a joke?! I guess I am to be told that items are gone forever. AGAIN. Not Once but Twice. This is too much.

Sorry to hear what is going on. Could your brother be playing a joke on you? did you hit sell all? does any of your friends have access to your steam account? Do you sleep game? Did you put it in your shop instead?

I understand that losing an item is annoying I lost my best set of armor to a trade bug. Lets look at this from trendy's point of view. Restoring items is a lot of work to rollback an account. This may not necessarily work especially items that are not in an account for long. The other problem is lets say they could rollback an account what is to stop someone from duplicating the items with a friend? Then they would have to check the persons trade history ect. that takes a lot of time.

Plenty of people would be willing to help you out to get better gear when they hear a story like this. I dont have my good squires armor as I loaned it to my friend so I cant do survival well. But I would be willing to do some kings game/shipwreck runs if you need some mana.

I did explain to you previously what could have happened and instructed you to check for a rollback. When you're having a problem with stuff not saving, it probably isn't a wise idea to accept items and trades from people until you're certain things are working properly again, especially in the case of items that can't be reobtained.

As silly as this could possibly sound, please also make sure you aren't simply logging into the wrong mode or forgot where you put it.

Well, believe me I have done my checking. It cant be a rollback since my tavern still has the challenges completed trophy. Furthermore, I have accepted no trades since gaining either cube. All I did was check to ensure it was in my item box before closing the game. When I came back, I went back to the item box only to find it missing.

I am aware of the trade bug. Thus, when I took my brother's cube, I used his character to drop the cube in my tavern. I picked it up and verified that it was in my item box. Even if I don't get my item back, maybe u could tell me why this has happened? I know its only a game and I can accept the hard truth.

Honestly, I would have felt better if I was hacked, scammed, lost my item due to a known bug. Instead of being left clueless, not knowing what to do.

since i ve lost 2 armor pieces when i drop it in tavern i stop doing that with items i need xd, they should check that out

I've lost some pieces of armor too just a couple of hours ago...
