Dungeon Defenders II game Status:
It does not work for me, either. I use a little more complicated thingy, using a FuSa Gamepad on PSP and a Sidewinder joystick. I translate the calls from these two devices to key input using xpadder and then use vjoy to make one fully functional controller from these two half-working. Until I try to find the VJoy joystick in x360ce everything works well. x360ce does not detect it. Any idea? Thanks!
I'm having issues with this as well. Vjoy installs and runs just fine (as admin) same with X360.... Control panel shows both Vjoy controllers and all keybinds work through the USB.... I open up X360 though and it only detects the real controller and not the Vjoy ones....
I'm trying to be able to use 1 or 2 controllers and then use 1 or 2 via keyboard commands (Mikee's version works but then it disables the use of the controllers somehow) If anyone else knows what to do let me know:/
Edit: Also for some reason when I try to open X360 with Mikee's DLL in my folder it asks for me to update it. When I say no (so that it preseves his settings) it crashes.... I was going to try to see how his looked vs having it work normal via controllers but it seems like a no go. Why do things have to be difficult:/
Could it be because of the fact I'm running Win 7 Home Premium 64bit ? I tried it some more times, but still not working.
EDIT: I will try it on my old desktop and see if it's the x64 problem.
EDIT #2: Just for fun, x360ce won't launch on my second computer with 32bit Win 7 Ultimate, so I can't test it out.
Mikee's code changes a lot in the .dll and, afaik, he never added controller support before abandoning the project.
I tested it on Home Premium 64-bit(my wife's laptop had a hard drive failure a couple weeks ago which allowed me to test it on a fresh install once I swapped out the drive :P) and it worked fine.
Not sure why x360ce wouldn't launch on 32-bit unless you added in the 64-bit library.
For what its worth I followed the directions (checked and double checked) and couldn't get the controller emu to kick in, fortunately my controller still worked though.
same problem as everybody else. cant get xbox360ce to recognize the 2 extra keyboard controllers
Bumping this thread, maybe someone found a fix? I also can't get xbox360ce to recognize the virtual pads.
Cheers!
On the same boat as everyone else on this thread. Step 11 when after launching xbox360ce it should recognize the virtual controllers...it doesn't.
