upon closer inspection of the pizza holding area, it looks as if four pizzas are in some type of holding pattern? could this be some type of costco cheese conspiracy.
let's examine:
in the previous photo which I have enchanted and cropped to eliminate confusion, we clearly see said pizzas waiting to be handed out on the top of the heat lamp shelving unit.
clearly some underlying issues are at work here...

he crowds have cleared and two people including myself remain for the elusive cheesy morsel.
in the above newly added photo, we clearly see the rush for costco foodstuffs have clearly subsided and the fact that the same four pizzas - still remain.
