    Nice start on King's Game Patch Notes Trendy, now finish with...

    * Goblin Copters now only drop/carry mini ogres
    * Reduced Goblin Copters missile damage by 30%
    * Increased King's Game DU a further 10-15
    * Reduced difficulty of King's game to be equivalent to Aquanos.

    I know we all get frustrated with how this game gets at times, but at least you are some what fixing some key issues. So hopefully we will see some of these changes in the future.

    What are you unsure of classic? you got me curious now.

    I will give you my reasons for the changes.

    First off Goblin Copters They need a nerf in damage to missiles because having high resistance in nightmare doesn't mean much when these guys spam there missiles at you when they are out of reach. Next is Ogres being dropped on you with higher health and damage all because they wear a hat. :P

    Mini ogres seem to make much more sense if they want to keep the numbers high, but add some variety to the enemies and give you a chance to deal with them before you get over run.

    As for King's game a further 10-15 DU can't hurt any for just abit more extra firepower for late game survival. At that point the enemies scale dramatically.

    Which brings me to my last point. This map was stated to be a progression map, yet it does the opposite of that. So I figure a more reasonable difficulty would be around Aquanos. That way it can still be challenging to most and give a better chance for players to some what progress in this map as it was originally intended to do so.

    Aquanos mobs are actually tougher than Sky City mobs. The only reason you think Aquanos is easier is because Aquanos is really nothing but straight corridors.

    the missiles for some reason don't have to be nerfed much though, just the rate at which they are fired, as well as the copter crash that needs to be fixed, it insta kills me EVERY time on 18+Waves and that's with 80% resist 115K health (apprentice, can't go much higher -_-)

    also, you guys say that nerf mentioned by OP is a lot to ask for, though, the map is intended to be a bridge to nightmare shards dlc

    so equivalent to aquanos, would still not be that

    i agree with the units though, too many mobs for too little defenses

    and don't care if the ogres on copters stay normal ones, just make those copters NOT drop them of miles away from your defenses, dropping EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM with full health...

    Actually no. Sky City mobs have more health and damage then Aquanos mobs and not mention the count of Copter Ogres on the map is absurd being a stage specific enemy and all. It's kind of obvious that they would as Sky City is a step up from Aquanos.

    I remember Trendy saying that Moraggo was the hardest out of them all. Yet I don't have many issues with them there.

    Really if you want to come down to it, Nightmare isn't that hard, just cheap. The issue is the number of ogres being thrown at you at one time, reduce this and you will see the game will feel alot more balanced in NM.

    ^ one of the devs said sky city mobs re weaker than aqua mobs (somewhere on the forums, don't recall where though), and yes in the livetsream they said morrago has the hardest mobs, but since it's all narrrow passages it feels easier since they can't all swarm at you at once

    it's not only the mobs that matter, but also the map ^^

    king's game is a fully open map, making it harder actually, despite only having 2 sides on each crystal to defend, the sides are very wide and ogres can pile up on the walls next, so the wall has to take many ogres at once instead of 2 or 3 in aquanos corridors/morrago

    (think i have a new record btw, 7 ogres piled up enxt to eachother bashing the same wall (most of em, others derping) was our death

    I suppose it all depends on what the intent of king's map is. If it is a stepping stone over the wall then that is one thing... if it is the final end game map then that is another. Or is it something in between?

    Don't matter much other than keep it true to what the intent is.

    Goblin Copters only really need a "less missile spam" if anything. Or not being able to fire them from stupid heights. When they can out range archer minions with 2k range just by being far too high, yet still fire on them, something's up. Other than that, they're easily killed if you got range.
