I noticed that while on the parent skin of the Monk,
it seems the walk speed is slower than the normal one,
is this true? cause I can really notice the difference.

It's true. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. Not sure what possessed them to do that. Perhaps it's a bug.
I could see the Knight being slower.. and maybe the Elven Ranger because she's ranged, and speed isn't necessarily "needed" when ranged, but the Chi Master and Magus should have the ability to run a lot faster..
Have you SEEN the first secret room? All that caffeine infested soda? And you wonder why the kids are faster?
yeah, the slower movement speed is intentional, but honestly, i think that with as hard as it is to get the skins, especially the super legendary ones, they should just be all around awesome, as you have earned the right to be that way.
ill honestly probably never use any of them because the ridiculously slow movement speed on them kills the ability to play them effectively in both boss fights and in late wave survival games.
+1 on legendary outfits should keep their character specific speed. They're exteremely difficult to get, so the bonus you get should really not be hindered by speed for no reason. A pet rock has a reason to hinder speed, that i get. It's a giant rock.
But the more talented, experienced parents? Legendary parents? SUPER Legendary parents? Why are they slow?
