From the upcoming patch notes is the 300 mana instead of 100 mana just for the campaign mode? (I assume it is).

Dungeon Defenders II game Status:

Both, but it doesn't apply to the mana you get from starting at a certain wave though.
Do we really need this?Arent we coming back to the original cheap king's game?
nah, you need it, if you were only going to build harpoons in the beginning, you could only get 2 to cover each side of both crystals. which isn't enough. This will allow people to be able to solo it a lot better instead of requiring a team to guard a crystal.
Oh I'm gonna love this. I'll actually be able to set up things on Wave 1.
Resembling the original? I sincerely hope you meant this as a joke, seeing as the difficulty and enemy health in the current version of the stage is about 10x (or more) the amount that it launched at. Adding this extra mana, along with the minor build time increase, simply means that solo players actually have a PRAYER of surviving the first wave. Ones without obscenely high stats, we mean. I'd still say an extra small bit of DU would be nice, particularly if the difficulty isn't being lowered anymore. Even as a final challenge stage, it would almost need that just to be fair to solo players.
Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.
This is a fantastic change!!

Agreed. I hate falling to my death trying to quickly get to the bottom 2 chests. Now I can skip that dubious pleasure.
I really dont know.I just build 2 harps on one crystal, 5 on the other, and 1 buff on each spot.then swap again to squire.I upgrade during combat phase and thats it. And once i have the whole setup with auras and traps, i just AFK. Yeah, you have to rush it a bit, but its not impossible. I know im not the majority here, and I dont expect to change anyone's mind. I just wanted to speak my mind.
It was way easier prepatch, and when they buffed the map, it was impossible for me, but i thought it was a fair call. I took it as a challenge for high-end geared players, and i thought "fine. I will do this later". After the patch, it was doable for me again, but i had to rush it a bit. And it looked balanced for me. The rewards are plain crazy, so it was still a great challenge with high reward.
But again, I'm just speaking my mind. I dont pretend to hold the truth in this statement or whatsoever.
