Moved aura causing invisible wall for Bowling Balls

I was playing on Forges and Foundries, and moved an Ensnare Aura to the center lane near the crystal, where I also had two Bowling Ball turrets aimed.

I quickly noticed that the bowling balls only went so far, and then bounced off an invisible wall, that seemed to be near the center of the aura.

As I'm sure you can imagine, this was a bit of an issue since they enemies had to get quite close before the bowling balls were even touching the enemies.

From the looks of it you're the only one on the map and the person who moved the aura? Were you also the placer of the aura? Also did the aura come out of a present or placed down by a monk? I can't seem to replicate the issue myself but we'll keep looking into it.

It may not be based on the aura being moved.

I had that problem before when I farmed that map, bowling ball turrets specifically. The lanes have an incline up that you need to take into account with bowling ball physics. If the turrets are just slightly too far in front of the crystal, the balls will not have enough momentum to get over the incline.

I mean, there may be a legitimate bug here, but from what I see in the picture with my own past experiences, that is what I am guessing happened based on the positioning on the bowling ball turrets.

Jester-Only, I think. But, definitely only me.

Yes I was playing solo on this map, no one else around. I moved the aura, and I -think- I noticed the problem only begin once I moved the aura. (There were a couple of other minor issues, like trying to select the aura, and turrets moving after using the Jester's Move Tower ability).

I also -think- that was when I was trying a Jester-only round of survival, so I believe that everything on that map was all from my Jester character.

I apologize that I can't quite recall the details with 100% certainty.

@Darxio Perhaps it's not related, but again, I think I noticed the problem only after I moved the aura, but it could be a coincidence. Also, I think the bowling balls seem to be stopping too quickly to say it's due to incline. From what I saw it looked like they were hitting a wall, but again, that's just my perspective.

the towers and aura in the screenshot (at least the ones important to the issue) all have the active tower tag with a jester pic, so they're all from presents

I'm pretty sure those paths toward the crystal all slant downwards. Are you sure they're not just losing forward momentum from the slant? I seem to remember using bowling balls in that area before and they didn't go far because of it.

Very nice catch indeed! So yes, this must be the match I went all Jester on.

Here's something to think about though. If it really was just a slant issue, I would think that would be easily replicable, which according to the tech support representative, doesn't seem to be the case as of their post.

I haven't had a chance to check it myself. It's honestly what it looks like from your screenshot but I won't be able to try til later today.

I don't think this has anything to do with aura. If you put those bowling ball turrets further up, next to crystal, the balls have enough momentum to reach the end of the lane. If you locate them at the bottom (like in the pictures) the balls should not travel further than is shown. This has always been the case, and the biggest reason on how to position bowling balls in this map.
