I sell all my myths for 20 million flat. All have at least 200 points in one primary stat, have all 4 builder stats or both DPS stats, 100+ ups, and if DPS all resists. Hope that's not too greedy.

Your continued inability to add a pony-riding countess skin into the game has driven this game into the ground. Over 120 players on my steam list have all quit due to this. Forums have died. Gameplay is pathetic. I really hope you can fix this soon.
I hope you see what I did there. Either you're trying to be funny by just adding a lot of drama, or you've made another "omg you just ruined everything, just look what everyone thinks" post. I absolutely hate it when people do it, I don't take them seriously, please stop acting as if the world ended. I just can't respect anyone who unironically makes posts like those (neither can I respect most people who do ironically make them). It's a stupid way to sound like the all-important wise saviour of the game.
Either way, the mana economy has never been great. That's the great thing about virtual currency though, it's not as troublesome as normal currency. We can still manage with trading, or finding our own items. Some may even say the game is more fun if you don't spend too much time trading.
Winterbraid does raise some valid points. While I don't run an afk shop, I really should because I can get drops from later survival waves on shards maps that people will pay handsomely for. Same for pets. I don't I suppose due to laziness. But I really should.
Why? Should be the obvious question. Upgrades cost an arm and a leg. Sure I can make a survival run and cap my soft mana (600 mil) - which is what I do. I have the time block to do this maybe once a week. But when my seahorse is costing me approx. 80 mil per level and I still have 49 levels to go with the upgrade cost going up - I've still got anywhere from 7 to 10 more mana runs to make (not sure how much those last levels will cost me). That is seven to ten weeks if I can only make a mana run once a week. Based on this I conpletely understand why I should afk my way to 2bil over night instead of just 600mil.
Hackers have been hacking mana for a long time in the game. IMO the high cost of upgrades have been a primary factor in driving costs up. If Winterbraid didn't have to spend so much in upgrades would he feel as compelled to ask the prices he does?
Another factor is the true RNG factor in loot. As mentioned you can far more easily cap out mana than find upgrades when you reach a certain level of stats. So either you farm you life away looking for that one drop you need or you go shopping and with the potential of unlimited mana what are you willing to pay?
So I can see and understand both sides. But in either case I don't see the legitimate token system having changed anything for the worse. And for those that have forgotten you could easily farm the AMPs for token weapons very quickly - so that was always there if you wanted to make the old style tokens. And the hackers always had the stats to do those easily.
EDIT: based on what Andy mentioned it would be faster to hack with the new token system - still easy for hackers in either old ir new - but faster would mean more counterfeit mana on the market quicker. good point Andy.
I sell all my stuff pretty cheap I think, if I cant use it ill sell it, normally 25-75 for myth 60-150 for trans and 200+ for sup, but I never really loot anything that doesnt look decent.
Its basically just to cover my own upgrade costs, so I see no point in ppl selling stuff for 400mil+ and calling their shop name "Cheap WAP!) especially when the stuff magus crap >.> its like ppl dont even look at stats for setting trans prices...lol.
I love the tokens though, every end of a surv run ill get a nice shiny tokenThen instead of "having" to open my shop for a quick mana boost to upgrade, I can just do it from my tavern, great addition imo wish I could do it mid surv runs.
I'm glad someone has finally noticed that mana tokens are ruining the economy. For a hacker, it takes 5 minutes to make 100b in tokens. so mana hackers HAVE ruined the Economy even further than before.
Anyway, time for me to get back to the beach.
Economy has always been ruined, and while it's now easier (I guess) to hack incredible amounts of mana, I doubt it has made more people hack. Maybe it has made some people hack more, but the economy in this game has always been off. Basically, this surplus of mana has made it so that players kind of have to set their own prices, which is sometimes reasonable, and often isn't.
Either way, an auction house system would probably be hurt even more by hackers. Apart from that, it's only ruining the game for you if you really need to buy gear to progress. Something which has, for me, always taken the fun out of it.
You're friends quit playing because of mana tokens?!? Oh the comment's one could make if forum rule's did not forbid it....
But seriously, Throughout this post not one person complaining about the mana tokens has offered any singular proof that they ruined anything.
Before Tokens: Hacker's hacked items selling them for insane amounts of mana and therefore effectively introducing large amounts into the economy and throwing it off balance.
After Tokens: Now they Hack mana tokens to achieve the same thing.
The tokens didn't do anything, nada. Here's a clue, Any economy is realistically based on Supply and demand. As long as there is a demand for mana, someone needs to supply. in this case, the hackers are nothing more then smuggler's trying to find the free way to get to the supply. I for one appreciate the tokens, as they let me store much more mana w/o having to use an afk shop to break cap. They honostly are boon to any legit player, though i could see a hacker not being happy that he doesn't have the market cornered on mana anymore, and that sir, make's me giggle...as only a Klown can.
The really funny thing is, if you unknowingly buy a hacked item, YOU get in trouble for it, not the hacker. This is a catch-22, as you almost HAVE to hack mana to get past the brick wall, since the latest "balance tweaks" *Scoff* just built a giant brick wall so new players can't progress again.
This is the last post you'll see by me. I'm uninstalling this game and moving on to better games (Torchlight 2, Guild Wars 2).
Actually I could classify Daikatana as a better game, as John Romero actually CARES about the community a whole lot more...
