What is The best Range Monk wep???

i will love to be an range monk cuz, whit my melee weps cant kill djins...
but which one get more damage per upgrade??? or all get like 80 per upgrade?

Its of course personal preference. I have a 120^ Junboa that IMO I ruined by putting all in on ranged damage. I hate shooting at a crowed of creeps and seeing them pressing on through my onslaught. I use my 80^ Glaive instead until I get a jumboa I can upgrade into close attack damage.

P.S. Do they have +5 bonus projectile?

Anymore than +2 and you lag otherwise it would be a monster. +5 causes quite large jumps in frame rate.

But seeing how most projectiles miss unless your point blank then its a small cost to pay to have a usable weapon.

Range scales MUCH slower than melee on monk weapons. Less than half as fast

pffff that's an understatement. if you have an oversized (size 7) Junbao's Saber with over 100^, it only takes 2 swings at a Djinn to kill... it's a joke, at least until Insane+ comes out. although playing the monk isn't necessarily about all this...

one thing i know for sure about being a monk fan is this: it was never a vicarious pleasure, despite all appearances to the contrary, and those who only say DPS, you are CLEARLY missing the point. the monk was always stereotyped as the support class, no dps, an underdog if you will, heck a lot of times when you join as the monk in public matches, you'd just get kicked instantly. i mean instantly... even for Junbao.

it was never easy, at times discouraging, to stand next to a huntress with massive DPS, but that was the challenge! you had to play smart, know the map better than other players, utilize resist armor, stats, spawning points, enemy habits, use L2, hero boost, tower boost, farm better pets, and simply play smarter than other players, prove people wrong, put in more time than others ... and so had a better understanding of the game, a sweeter appreciation of why the SUN still shines when i think of this game.

i prefer it and you can always do both melee and ranged. it's part of the package, or go back and just do melee. at your preference. anyhow, try the ranged build i'd provided earlier - the dps is there you just have to know how to use it - and if you have more questions let me know. i'll provide help in-game or over pm's. trust me, trust Junbao and the Clan ... we have proof of our gameplay if you haven't seen it already.
