What to Upgrade on Companion Cube?

    Hey all,

i would like to ask what to upgrade on it, because i really love it. Should the dmg get buffed or the stats? or even Knockback.

Dont upgrade it. buy a seahorse
    upgrading them devalues them
If you are really inclined to use it upgrade damage
    seriously tho dont upgrade it

I'll second that, it's mana value is too ridiculous to upgrade.

Just saying, but i am not interested in selling it, just want to keep it (its kinda white/grey, making it look quite like the original).
If u uprade the Knockback, would it make Ogres fly?

if you want to keep it just store it in your item box without upgrading it. cube isn't a good dps pet to use, it's more a collectible item.

I traded my cube for for trans armor set and a perfect pet rock.
I know you want to save it, but don't upgrade it. Trade the cube for gear / pets to really boost your player!

Then when your rich, because that new gear helped you a lot, then buy another cube if you want to use it.

Don't listen to newbies and get rid of your cube, you will get that gear sooner or later anyway and whatever you trade it for, there is a big chance the buyer will make several times more out of it later. Cube is a one per account item and therefore strictly limited in quantity, its value will only go up over time and besides, getting rid of it is just wrong - so why not use it yourself?

It is a perfectly good starting DPS pet as well, grants you extra mana for putting stars in your towers (which the seahorse doesn't do) and helps deal with pesky ogres. As far as I know, knockback on the cube cannot be upgraded; so you won't be sending ogres flying, but when they are already standing close to an edge (like in Sky City or Palantir), knocking them off is very possible. Upgrade the hits per second when you can, and put everything else into base damage.
