So my account got banned for hacking,can i re purchase the game to play online again?

so yea i hacked my items n stuff, but here the thing.

i only hacked my items and used them in a private server by myself with noone else only ever playing
by myself.

but any way, the question i want to know is that seeing as im banned from online play, why cant i just re purchase dungeon defenders to play again??

i go to the store page to buy it again but it says i already own it >.>

i really dont want to make another steam account just for 1 game

I'm not sure what you can do here.

But the reason you got banned, is you cheated. This will be a VAC ban and is common knowledge that cheating on open by use of CheatEngine or similar will have you receive a VAC ban; the only way to "cheat" "legally" is through the DDK, which allows you to do anything that a cheat program would, I believe, and this is allowed for playing on Open.

You have to create a new steam account. It's not possible to re-buy games on your own account. Those are Steam's rules, not Trendy's.

Hacking isn't allowed whether other people see you do it or not.
