I'm seeing if there is interest in this concept. Unfortunately, I work full-time and don't have the time to fully run what I envision to be something positively beneficial to real, legit players of dungeon defenders. Now that mana has been rendered as generally obsolete, a system in which we the community can trade for other pieces in a fair and equitable manner can help boost everyone's enjoyment of the game.
Take this scenario. You get an awesome piece of supreme dps plate boots; however, you currently only use chain and mail dps gear. Well in DAWN you'd put the gear into a deposit and get a weighted grade on the gear you put in. You may then select the gear you want based on how many points you put in within a given range.
There would be two systems for measuring a specific items value. For tower gear it would be the summation of all tower stat values + number of upgrades left (for sups and ultimates it may be different). Obviously gear would have to be screen for what people preferred. So only items that peg out tower attack would be accepted within the network and must meet a minimum quality standard based on tier.
I know this is a bit long, so to the point. Is anyone interested in helping to run something like this. We can work out the details here including value formulations, ect.
