Uber Lifestream Hollow Monster Fest is unbeatable

When playing the Uber Lifestream Hollow Monster Fest challenge (on Nightmare difficulty, anyway), it is impossible to complete even the first wave of the challenge. After defeating 175/191 enemies in the first wave, there are no more enemies to be found anywhere, resulting in a guaranteed defeat when time runs out.

I've encountered the same issue. Sometimes there are no enemies, sometimes there are about 20 wyverns all flying into each other at their spawn point.

Once they actually started moving, but by then the timer reached 0:00
