    Do you understand that you are defrauding your customers by selling a Mac compatible game when its not mac compatible.

    Those guys really need that someone sue them to learn the lesson, The game is still listed as Mac compatible what a joke really and the worst of all this story is that steam don't even care about this they only care about the commission that they get to sell this piece of crap that dungeon defender is

    The most irritating part is that they don't even rely to the support request nor reply in the forum post also they don't have even a ticket system to track down the bugs.

    Very poor customers service by trendy they are just a bunch of defrauders that should shame themselves.

    TrendyEnt Support,

    Can we please get an update to this issue? I understand that corellation ≠ causation, but I notice that DunDef runs on my wife's early 2011 MBP with an AMD video graphics card, but on my mid-2010 MBP running nVidia, all I get is the beachball/infinite hang after the initial video.

    It's been months of this and despite updates, I've never been able to play this game on my primary system.

    Please advise if this is an isolated nVidia related problem or if there is any information I (and other users who experience this issue) can provide to help resolve this.

    It's "game breaking", as it were. 8)

    I have checked and made sure that both your model of Mac computers play the game without an issue. We have several users who play with those Macs and perhaps some of them have an issue with a single map itself but not the black screen of doom.

    If you haven't yet make sure to verify your cache(instructions below) to see if that helps and check if any other programs are possibly interfering. Like an anti-virus or gaming program.

    1: Open your steam library
    2: Right click Dungeon Defenders (http://i.imgur.com/UyPCa.jpg)
    3: Click properties (http://i.imgur.com/JvLz2.jpg)
    4: Click local files (http://i.imgur.com/TO5wC.png)
    5: Click verify integrity of game cache (http://i.imgur.com/IZDGD.png)

    If those don't help it's hard to give you a reason why you're seeing the issue since we got confirmation that those models or quite similar work without an issue. We are also unable to replicate the Mac issue on some in-house testing. We're still releasing some more updates this week for Mac users and perhaps one of those will help.

    IceArrow,

    I've gone through these steps, as you asked and much like the previous poster, it hasn't seemed to make a difference at all. In fact, I still get the beachball immediately after the introduction video plays. I cannot bypass or "skip" the intro movie either. I'm forced to Force Quit DunDef every time this happens, which is every. time.

    While I appreciate that you were able to determine that all the mid-2010 MacBook Pro models work (despite there being 6 of them in the mid-2010 line-up), I've gone ahead and attached my actual model, along with specs;

    Hardware Overview:

    As the other poster provided, here is also a screenshot of DunDef consuming CPU while beachballing;

    If there is anything else I can provide, such as a system or DunDef log file that can help you or the developers track down and eliminate this problem, please don't hesitate to ask for it. I'd really like to actually play this game with my wife and friends.

    love,
    shmoo
