The games has been out for Pc for, waht? Almost a year? You you haven been playing ever since.

You got the Myths when they started dropping.
Thn Trans, Supreme and now Ultimate..

You are what people call out "Pr0s". You have around 2.5k+ stats or even more.

And YET you complain when Trendy gives you more challenges, most of them for free.

For me, it seems a little uncalled for. It's great that Trendy keep releasing patches and giving us more fun!

Why are you complaining? Isn't it boring to have EVERYTHING, everything maxed out and survie the thoughest challenges? I would like to hear why, really. Bcuase I don't understad people who complain about the game getting harder.

    My opinion?
Just enjoy the game. The copters will get fixed, Ogres will stop reproducing in respawn and you will still be one of the pr0s.

    Enjoy the game.
I only started playing earlier this year, I only got myths and low grade ones at that since I didn't want to waste 6++ hours of my life playing in Survival. I didn't get any Transcendent armor to drop because I stopped playing not long after Sharken came out because it crapped on what progress I could now possibly make with Survival not having a soul crushing length. I don't have anywhere near 2.5K stats on any of my characters, the only one that comes close is my EV Wall builder and thats only for walls, and I think she only has 2K ish health if she even has that much.

I don't want more challenge, I want to be able to actually progress in the game. I don't want more challenge without more reward, doing something harder and getting the same crap you got before isn't fun or logical in any way. No, I would still have fun if I had great gear since I could actually do more content, being overpowered is fun as long as you still get some kind of real reward.

Im not going to enjoy the game if Im not making any kind of real progress.

I found a great way to counter the ogre popilation, and it is to spawn 2 siders or so and a Ogre in their way.

That way, you ogre will distract other Ogres while your poons do all the work. This mostly works on chokepoints though.

These two things don't add up, you can only get better gear by beating harder waves of stuff, and if you can't do that because of he copters you are SOL.

Why must all your posts be so negative and supposedly how awesome you think you are? Can you at least be constructive in your posts and not put people down... be helpful, not rude.

It's not a new challenge it's the same friggin thing all over again just way harder then before while the gear drop rate is abysmal as it used to be. So the difficulty has constantly gone up while the rewards have not.

Imagine you're just breaking in to Nightmare. Goblin copters. Goblin copters everywhere.

Just kidding, it's better now. But there should be a progression to new enemy types in Nightmare campaign for all the monsters. It could be similar to how you didn't see wyverns or DEW's for a couple maps.

I agree with one of the things you said, the community definitely should not be bashing Trendy, especially not on something really new. Goblin Copters may have their issues, but the simple fact is that Trendy is a small team and it'll just take some time to get the job done. Honestly, the best part about Trendy is that they take their time to come to these forums and listen to each and every complaint and, usually, follows through with some sort of solution. Not every solution is what everyone wants, but pleasing everyone isn't possible in any scenario.

I definitely don't agree about not complaining. Complaining is good, if you do it right. A good, constructive complaint can get the opinion to the developer without insulting them, making it so that they would actually pay attention to what the person is saying. It's very difficult for people to get something right the first time, and usually it requires an outside source to tell them that there's something they need to fix. This is the case for Nightmare. Though I may be wrong, Nightmare is still in Beta. Every person who played Nightmare was testing it. Now that everything for Nightmare has been released, I'm assuming they are in the process of balancing it out before finally releasing it to the public that haven't bought the shards pack. It's the constructive complaints that we give that push this balancing forward.

There is a difference between complaining and whining. Nothing pissed me off more than coming to the forums the day that the fourth shards map was released and looking at four or so topics mentioning that the final boss was too hard on Nightmare Hardcore. Honestly, this boss is the FINAL BOSS. If the final boss could easily be taken out on the hardest possible difficulty in one night, there was a problem. Whining about it being too hard and demanding they lower the difficulty so they can get the hardest possible moment of the game completed the night it comes out is not useful to the developers and annoying to the community.

I get what you're saying and I know where you're coming from. However, the point I'm attempting to make is that it's not just Nightmare difficulty level that's the problem, IMO. I'm having trouble with the concept that the difficulty scaling, at least to me, seems to have been severely ramped since the recent update/patch. I honestly cannot even ENVISION some of these maps, like the new Palantir, Crystalline Dimension, or Boss Rush on Nightmare (let alone NM HC), because I can't even complete them on Insane, with a group.

While you're right when you say it's difficult to get something right the first time, that seems to be the way things are going right now (i.e. - have the perfect set-up or you fail/no margin for error). Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I have no comprehension of what I'm talking about, but my understanding is that with over 1k tower damage (Countess) & tower HP (EV) stats, I should be able to successfully beat the Palantir map on Hard, however, this is not currently the case. 10 ogres whacking at my EV's Physical Wall while my Countess' Harpoons failing to take them out is discouraging to say the least.

I think it's a matter of, we aren't being rewarded well enough for the work we already do. They introduce a new mob, new nightmare builds must be tweaked, survival builds must be tweaked and so forth. We are not being rewarded for the hard work we do to adjust our playing strategy. I mean hey, none of of my characters have above 1k stats. I play publicly although most of the players aren't that bad from the ones I enter. I think the drop system should be revamped and refined. It's not rewarding us like it should. It should especially decrease the quality of the reward if done with less players so it discourages to solo. I'm not saying the loot should be taken down a quality lvl for it but, just a slight stat drop.
