Great idea! It's beyond the scope of what we could do with Dungeon Defenders, though.

Dungeon Defenders II game Status:
Great idea! It's beyond the scope of what we could do with Dungeon Defenders, though.
I think this is quite useless, we already have achievements/challenges that reward players for their hard work, with skins and items of varying rarity and quality. I would suggest the rewards are improved tho.
DD is an RPG Multiplayer Coop TD Game. These quests were meant to give people fixed rewards to guarantee, if they do something hard, they won't get items with 8 negatives. So it serves a purpose. To me it seems you did not read the idea to the end. GTA4 is no RPG and has "quests"
I am not talking about multiplayer and these levels are not RPG Levels. No better stats etc.
First off, stop comparing games, we're talking about Dungeon Defenders.
Ive read your entire thread, I did not misunderstand it. You want to add quests that reward the player with items after doing something remarkable. There are already things in the game that fullfil this role, for example:
- Completing certain missions
- Completing challenges
- Killing bosses
- Reaching certain wave number on Survival/Pure Strategy
- Completing Achievements
What is the point of adding even more of these, theres enough already. Now, I see that you have mentioned fixed rewards. I think that ones of the things that keeps me playing Dungeon Defenders is the different quality of items, it makes item hunting and trading a lot more fun.
I dont see what is this good thing about this suggestion. Its more of the same that we already have.
