If I'd say as what you come of I'd most likely get banned. On other forums you'd most likely get banned aswell though.

For all purposes getting a piece of supreme gear does nothing whatsoever to help one. You get hundreds of mythical and loads of trans on the long run. How many of them are you actually able to use? A tiny fraction!

An piece of supreme armor drops, now there are several things you have to take into consideration:

    1. Does the piece of armor actually have the stats you want it to? No? Trash bin!

    2. The piece of armor actually HAS the stats you need. Great! Are all of those stats positive? No? Trash bin!

    3. The piece of armor actually has the stats you need and they're positive. Are they even high enough so they're better then the trans/mythical you're wearing? No? Trash bin!

    4. 1-3 are a yes. Now does that armor actually has enough upgrade levels to make it worthwhile? No? Trash bin!

    5. 1-4 are a yes, yay? Oh wait. You're wearing a pristine set but that piece of armor is mail! Trash bin! Afterall there are 5 different armor types. Damn!

Now look at the hundreds of mythicals who drop and even when wearing mythicals of how many actually make it through all 5 steps and how many wont even get close to 5. And now think about having only very few items drop in the first place. That's a damn many "does" and "has" for so few armor pieces.

So, yes? You expect each run to give you personally an upgrade of the absolute best gear the game currently has to offer...

Ok. I think that adds proof to what I stated. Thanks.

Stop being all q_q about supreme armors, you don't need more than trans/myth to beat aquanos or any other map in this game except probably karathiki and talay, those may require full trans sets.

Having a full set of supreme armor won't make you better, my friend is also like this, only found 1 good sup armor in ~20 runs that he can use, rest garbage. He doesn't whine about having barely 3k stats, sure he says Andy I'm a bit jelly of your gear but it's not like he goes OMG Q_Q I HAVE TO GO POST ON FORUMS SUPREME ARMOR SO RARE AND ****TY.

Seriously stop whining about armor, it won't make you better.

If you're doing runs which pop out 4+ Supreme items a go, you have very little need for the extra few hundred ideal stat gain you are looking for.

And, again if you are doing such runs, you can always run them again to get more chances. In addition to the obvious ways of increasing overall chances with more players.

You want top end quality from the rarest, soon to be second, loot in the game. Of course you're going to have to haul *** and work for it.

When Mythical quality loot first appeared, you didn't do a few run and got the best there was, you had to do a lot of runs. Same with Trans. Same with Supreme. It makes sense to make the better gear increasingly harder to get otherwise it negates the very purpose of it.

Hard work and luck. With Shards 4 and the rest of the content, chances are you'll find supreme gear more often on the newer maps, just like how misty, moraggo and aquanos helped you get progressive better Myth, Trans and Supreme.

Do you even remember how hard it was to find the best Trans gear on Morrago? The best Myth on Misty? If so, why complain about Trans with Aqua?

Wait it out. In a few hours from this post, you'll have access to the next content which should be harder and should make your task easier. I don't think you'll be happy though. You'll probably want high quality Ultimate gear after a few runs and that won't be happening either.

Same here. Maybe we're at end game, but normally beating the game feels great. This doesn't feel like an accomplishment at all.

Yeah I guess the interest will pick up again with the 4th pack, but after a couple of weeks the same +/- 2k players will remain, it's understandable as mindless and endless grinding is not for everyone and the actual game has to end some day. Gotta commend Trendy for support their game so much but eventually they will have to move onto the next project, hopefully DD 2.

I can solo mf maps rather easily, but I've never seen anything worth noting.

Transcendent gear will allow you to reach 3k (in a single stat), and I have personally seen only a handful of waves (after 21) of Aqua that did NOT drop at least a single trans item. What I can say is that running with a summoner (doesn't have to be your character, unless you are soloing) does help with the # of armor drops. Also, the balance of weapon drops vs. armor drops when using non-summoner characters is incredibly biased towards weapons (which I would support them doing something about, but just don't see happening based on prior TE responses).
I typically find a decent amount of trans gear in my runs, but it's almost always been, hero instead of builder, wrong stats overall, negatives, lack of upgrades, or it has the right the stats but the most important ones are low enough to where I would get too insignificant of a boost, if I get a boost at all. In fact, I have a full page of trans gear I really don't have use for because of this.

There are godly items that drop in Aqua that could get you above that number. I regularly find myth's that have 200-300 in 2+ stats in Aqua, starting in the high teens or low 20s. I didn't even run a survival, though, when I rounded my characters to about 1.8k across the board (again, monster fests).
Typically I find trans gear that matches up with characters that already have good trans gear. Sometimes I find stuff that is almost good, but typically its too low in various stats, or negatives, or upgrades(as I went though before). But mostly it's just not the right type, that happens far too often, or it's not the right piece. Through upgrades I have managed to get my states much higher, especially when I do find a good trans piece to equip. The problem, which is what this thread I find to be mostly about, is that you can find trans and sup gear all day long but if it doesn't have what you need, it's useless to you. In fact most hero gear I find is either the wrong kind, or lacks health or damage, or has a massive negative on it, or huge negatives on resistances. I find a good amount of useless trans gear. And as far as those 200-300 myth gear, I have never seen one. I beat mistymire surv, and got most of the way through morrago and as I have stated before, made it to 27 on aquanos, and have never seen one of those. Or I guess I should say, not to the same extent as what is expected from that kind of gear. I'm only starting to breach 2k because of the trans gear I find, but it's rather rare to actually find what I'm looking for. I mean sure at first it was like, grab every piece they're all useful, but now I have to carefully choose because most of them don't do anything for me.

Survival, especially late wave (25+) survival is the current end game, and you seem to have skipped an intermediate step in the gearing process.
Ok I beat mistymire nmhc surv, I didn't find a single piece of gear that even worth selling, same went for my morrago run. Both were just a complete waste of time. I did manage to find one trans on Morrago, but it ended up being horrible, even by myth standards.

Completing Wave 30 in Aqua survival is literally the end-all be-all of this game. Do you really think it should be easy to get there, or that before (or the first time) you get there you should have already gotten the best stuff the game has to offer?
I understand that if you want something good in a game, you have to grind some, but I have been grinding, and the progress is either painfully slow, or not there at all. I don't think that most people here are trying to just whine about it, but simply take note that there needs to be some kind of guarantee when you play certain stages at certain difficulties. Personally, I consider myself to be pretty good at DD, but at a certain point, it doesn't matter how good you are if you don't have the stats to do it. In which the next step is to go the places where you can get those stats. But think about it, if it takes 2-3 runs just to get one or two pieces of good armor that's a lot of time considering it takes 2-3 hours per run. In which case, if you don't get that armor piece you need, or a good sup, then that's 3 hours wasted. I don't know about you, but I find 3 hours to be a long time and when I have to do that multiple times to make good progression that's just not fun for anyone. I have put nearly 600 hours into this game, and I'm just crawling up to good stats. I enjoy playing DD as much as the next guy but what I don't enjoy is playing a nearly full run of aquanos nmhc surv and barely getting anything worthwhile. I mean obviously it can't just be, OMG EPIC GARR EVRYWHAR ERY RUN!! That woudl just be stupid if there was tons of op gear every run, but I would like to see at least one piece of really good gear each run around the really late waves, since it takes so much to even get there, it doesn't even have to be op gear either. I would just find it nice to be rewarded some for my efforts. But I'll let you know if I still feel that way after shards 4

This is why I suggested a more extensive forge system that allows you to potentially make your own set of ultimate/trans/myth gear from cursed/worn/torn gear, with the drawback being that it will cost an incredible amount of mana to forge, probably twice as much as the 600 mil standard demanded in shops.
