Dun def config crashes at start up (mac)

Ello all. I've been trying to play this on my mac since I am away from my pc. The game will launch and load but it goes at 0 to 3 fps after the opening movie. When I try to go change my video settings by running the configuration tool it just shuts down before it can open with no bugsplat report or anything.

OS: Mac OSX 10.7.4 Lion
Processor: 2 ghz intel core 2 duo
memory: 2 gigs
Graphics: intel GMA 954 64 mb

Though after looking at that video card it might be a huge problem.

The MacOS version of DD has been rather broken for a long time now. (Since before May 10th) This is mostly bad performance compared to the Windows version and crashing on long games. (I can usually play for about 90 minutes on average before it crashes. So, this isn't what you're seeing, but something to expect later after it starts working)

Major problem. DD will often eat up 1.5GB of RAM by itself and Steam another 0.5-1.5GB. That alone can really cause performance problems. I've even gotten bad slowdowns from 4GB not being quite enough on some levels.

This sounds like your main problem to me. This thread might help turning down the graphics more:

Hey thanks for the link, but I guess if what you say is true I may just be better off waiting till I get back to my pc.

Your video card doesn't meet the game requirements to play the game and is most likely why you are crashing.
