It uses its own piece of code, rather than the other pet achievement. Might be something different in the way it's done.

Anyways - seeing as I haven't heard of anybody getting this one yet - check if it opens the second tavern door, behind where you spawn? I know what's inside the room, but I want to know how to open it legitimately.

Lol, ya no luck on that. That's the first thing I checked. So it has to be Ultimate Defender then cause I've seen people with al achievements but the pet one and still no door.

I have all the pets on the list in my item box and still no achievement. what gives?

EDIT:

Even though I have 7.38d I still had to remove and re-add all pets to get the achievement to trigger. Just a heads up.

curious as to why this list wasn't restricted to just the new pets (as in the ones that are NOT part of the other achievement)
