Dungeon Defenders II game Status:
I've only gotten them from the Tavern. 6 or 7 godlies, and 1 myth. Don't use them as the cardboard in those tubes are too weak and would crumble after I hit an ogre once.
So I bought the DLC and have done a few complete survival runs and I haven't seen any drop or on my Tavern. Is their something else I have to do in order to get this weapon?

You don't need to own DLC to get that thing in your tavern.
You only need to raise prayers to your favourite deity for it to spawn with trans+ quality
I have done DOZENS of NM HC MM survival runs and I have had exactly ZERO cardboard tube weapons of any quality become available at the Tavernkeep. Trendy made these way to damn hard to get! I see low grade Godly ones running 10-15 tokens in shops. I gotta say finding one of these things is just plain redamdiculous!
10-15 tokens for a godly is pretty sad since they are so craptastic at that level. In protest to that practice... I'll just keep an eye out, and when I see one (godly or myth) I'll buy it & then give them away.
It may take awhile since I've not seen one in 2 weeks, but before that I saw several in a row. Anyway I guess GOKUPP and others may be interested if I get any this way. So I'll let you know if I do.
Edit: for a godly they are great but by craptastic I meant in relation to the token value.

I'm confident they drop on Halloween, at least on Mythical status, not sure how hard would it be to get a trans drop in there.
I am not sure whether I've seen one drop there... but since you mentioned it I somewhat remember a drop there but I'm not 100% sure.
So this morning I made 2 runs on NM HC with no luck. And I even dressed my monk in the Penny Arcade skin just to entice the RNG into looking at my farming effort with favor. Got 2 bad Nos weps for my efforts and about 50mil mana each run (collecting all drops looking for tube and then selling all). The mana made surprised me as I used to farm spooky for mana sometimes 80 - 100 was typical before), but I realized it was all the 1776 value gloves that killed the mana gen.
I also saw a public game running insane that I joined. Nothing there either.
In all 3 cases, I checked the tavern for tubes after the run. Nothing.
I need to run it at least 15 times before I make any conclusions. But at this time... random is random. And I do not like it.
