Dungeon Defenders II game Status:
I just got my hpd mk2 earlier this morning. I haven't used it yet but I've noticed in the trading section these have quite a bit of value. My question is why? And roughly what is one worth?
Probably because they are limited to one Mk2 per player, same as cubes. Don't really know about worth though.
They are worth different amounts to different people, i would personally hold on to it until an auction happens were the OP really wants one and u really want what he has.

There are also loads of people who bought their game on Amazon, through an indie bundle, or some other source that gave them a Steam Key. When you activate it on Steam this way, you don't get the TF2 and Portal DLC. And in that, even after putting in all the work to get the Hardcore Mythical Defender achievement, you don't get the MK2 Portal Gun. I know this pain all too well, as I bought the game on sale from Amazon without knowing that the key activation would lock me out from ever being able to get the Steam-specific DLC. Otherwise, I would have dropped full price and nabbed it on the Steam store.
I would gladly purchase the game a second time on the Steam store, and gift the extra copy to a friend, just to get the DLC. But sadly, you can't. -_- It's not as though I haven't shown my support to either Steam or Trendy, either; I've purchased every piece of DLC this game offers, and I've convinced loads of other friends to buy them as well. Normally I wouldn't care so much, like in the case of the TF2 pets, as those are just cosmetic things that I'd never actually use. The MK2 Portal Gun, however, actually has a functional purpose in the game (especially with EV.) Also hearing that it can make the Nightmare Sky o' Love slightly less torturous, of course, entices folks.

I did sky of love without portal guns and it was still pretty easy though. Just was a COMPLETE snoozefest on wave 10.
I've yet to do that one, or the president one.
Neither is very fun, sadly. Both of them were great ideas in concept, and I love the Valentines stage aesthetic (despite how it makes even the most-powerful computers chug quite a bit when stuff gets crazy.) I'm going to have to complete Nightmare Sky o' Love, eventually, for the Mythical Cupid achievement. If only they had assigned retroactive achievements to Warping Core Pack or Halloween instead of that one, haha. I'd even take Thanksgiving ones over Sky o' Love, and hunting down those turkeys is one of the biggest slogs ever. -_-;; Thank God they didn't add achievements for President's Day, most likely because it was PVP. Considering how that mode is not very popular (due to severe imbalance,) people would not have been fans of achievements tied to it.Originally Posted by MustangPirate69
