    How to deal with fishverns on aquanos mix mode.

    I have recently been trying to beat aquanos on mixmode NMHC, however i keep having the same issue, goldfish. I find them to be the most overpowered things ever. Even as early as wave 10 or 11 they 1 shot kill crystals, have over 1 mil hp and fast movement. How in gods name do i deal with them i swear i have changed my build soo many times trying to deal with them to no avail. The latest run i decided to once again try kandars build in a hope that he had found the solution. Also i changed it just a bit by placing at least 15 archers and mages around the 2 crystals that get attacked. I start the round then boom, 100 enemies in, crystal is under attack, crystal is destroyed. See afterwards that a fish that had 10 archers all shooting at it managed to once again 1 shot crystal. My question is how in gods name can I beat this map when i can loose instantly at what are considered low lvls for me.

    There are heaps of builds in which give ways to beat this map, either your stats are too low or youre build isnt the best. Look around in the guides section and see what builds are going atm.

    I was just wondering if there were any cheesy tricks to deal with them, but if there isnt ill keep experimenting, hopefully i get a good build.

    Aura trio's work really well in adding to the damage of harpoons/whatever you use for AA. 2k stats on my aura monk normally stops the low wave ones. At higher waves some hero DPS is definetely needed.

    Summoner minions would also help obviously
    Getting fed up with people whining about and judging something they have no knowledge of

    I kill them with buffed auras up to wave 20 using this build supported by Minions.
    Later it is necessary to visit fishes from time to time and clear them with DPS Monk.

    i havent tried mixed mode on NM yet, but what i do for them on insane is i just make a wall of orc minions on the wall behind the crystal, and then surround that with archer minions. the orcs keep the fish from flying past, and when they start to bunch up on them, provide some nice AE dps to soften them for the archers. also, my auras at 1500 range are large enough to cover the stairs all the way to the west of the southern crystal to damn near the wall i have the orcs stationed on, and as a result, they do damage to enemies coming from that low spawn point.

    I'm working on tweaking a build, but with a friend we made it to wave 28 without a single issue from fish wyvern at the main crystal.

    The reflect wall probably isn't necessary, but we had 1 harpoon dedicated completely fish wyvern, and the magic missile turret was angled to help with fish wyvern and clear the top lane. The buffed minions also helped out a lot. Also, the ensnare aura is pushed back a bit to catch them earlier.

    For the area behind the south crystal where they come from behind (the only place they pose a problem for me) i dedicate 4 archers on a buff beam on that little wooden ledge behind the crystal, as well as a snare/drain/electric aura combo. This is able to clear most of them with out a problem. From time to time you will get a clog of golden fish (sometimes 10 or more) from the genies that spawn in the area, in later waves there is nothing you can do against this except bring a player in to provide support, i tend to run a DPS monk with high DPS pet, in case of golden clog of doom i hit my boosts and my pets/archers all boosted clear things pretty quick.

    What are your stats?

    I use a slightly modified version of Kandar's build with summoner and have not had a problem with gold fish in a very long time, even on mixed mode through wave 30 starting at 18 with me on DPS monk and 3 afk controllers doing nothing.

    Here is how I setup my minions:
    South Crystal: 2 archers, 1 mage on east ledge, 3 archers & 1 mage just south of crystal, 4 archers & 1 mage on buff beam with harp/fireballs.

    Mid Crystal, 4 archers & 1 mage on buff beam, 4 archers & 1 mage on west side of crystal.

    North Crystal, 3 archers & 1 mage south of crystal, 3 archers & 1 mage north of crystal, 3 archers & 1 mage on buff beam.

    Then its just a matter of running around tower boosting the lightning auras, which I do anyway to deal with mobs. I don't even watch for fishwvyrens anymore.

    My builder stats are in the 2.5k to 3.3k range.
