Dungeon Defenders II game Status:
archer minions ai
well... ignoring that offensive minions suck...
offensive (or following) stance archers suck
they dont utilise full range and waste time by walking towards an enemy before shooting (when the enemy is in their range anyway)
this is painfully obvious in volcanic eruption
a troupe of archers following a crystal by the north west wyvern hole cant fully defend it, yet two defensive archers do fine
a larger troupe or archers also fail to protect the crystal when following (or hold offensive) it across the top layer bridge
id suggest making them stand still and attack when in range... but thats just defensive anyway xD
I do agree on this.
They need to be more... intelligent. But then again, they are crystaline creatures, so I guess their intelligence is low by default.
Oh, that was not meant to offend anyone from the Crystaline demension! It's just that they are made of crystal.
Yeah their AI is a little "dumb". I support some sort of increase.
Exactly their AI is so stupid. It would be awesome if they got some brain boost in their smoothie or something because at the moment they are dumb as a door nail.
Maybe allow them to shoot AND walk at 25% movement speed while attacking?
