Dungeon Defenders II game Status:
> But trust us when we say it'll be worth the waitDungeon Defenders Vita Update
We originally showed off a tech demo of Dungeon Defenders running on Sony’s handheld early last year. E3 came and went, and our fans noticed that nothing was said about Dungeon Defenders for the Vita. While we believe the Vita is a very capable platform, we’ve decided to shelve the Vita port of the game. Many fans, including myself, would like to play Dungeon Defenders on the portable device, but ultimately, we’ve decided to divert those resources to other pursuits. We can’t talk about these at the moment. In fact, you may not hear about these for quite some time. But trust us when we say it’ll be worth the wait.

Oh no, all Initiate outfits are made of fail. Original is ugly, Cupidette is pretty much the same and ugly as well and now... the hell is that? A fox? I can't stand any furry creatures in my game ;<
Steam Workshop is of course awesome idea, but has one serious flaw: lack of quality AND balanced maps. There is a bunch of hack-maps on Open, just a handful of maps looking good (Binarity Labs), but they tend to either drop nothing or drop absurd loot with no challenge. Also, spawns for NM creatures seem unsupported in custom maps.
Now with this new Insane+ are there going to be new challenges that come along with that, and a new pet if you complete all of those challenges?
My question, with regards to the consoles, is still: will they be getting new achievements/trophies/accomplishments to go along with Insane+ mode? I'm positive this can be done, so it's up to whether they've decided to put them in. There's always the risk of upsetting people who've "completed" the core game by throwing in achievements that require them to own new content. But by this point, I think the majority of console owners would rather have something new and semi-tangible to strive for. Heck, you could include achievements for simply clearing the original campaign and challenges on Insane+, which would be doable without any sort of additional content purchases (assuming the difficulty and stats for Insane+ are included in the title update.)
I moved to playing on Steam more than a month ago, and I've spent an absurd amount of time on it (even despite playing the 360 version to death prior to making that move.) Having new accomplishments/achievements would make it more enticing to take a trip back to 360, however. That, or to play with my friend Chris (whose computer is more than a decade old, so he's unwilling to even attempt the Steam version.) The rest of my IRL friends that play DD, thankfully, have come to Steam as well.
Hahahahaha. Just. Sure dude, whatever. You didn't write it.
It's a feedback thread. I assume they want, you know, actual feedback. Simple fact: very low on new content, which is very unlike other digests. If you really got a huge amount of new info from it it, then I'm a little shocked.
My sister doesn't have Internet. (she and her husband opted for smartphones instead) I keep trying to get my friend interested in it since she like WoW but she doesn't seem to care about it. LOL
Sorry. Your theory is incorrect. I'm a girl and I love gaming. Anything from Tomb Raider to Nancy Drew all the way to RAGE, Far Cry 2, Tom Clancy, heck I'll even play some Elder Scrolls (currently only have Morrowind and oblivion)
Don't underestimate us girls. I'll kick your butt in Team Fortress 2.
