Dungeon Defenders II game Status:
too many weapons...
there are WAY to many weapons.
im guessing that most characters only have 1 weapon slot, but we need 4 pieces of armor each.
can we get the weapon armor drops re balanced? i hate how at the end of most matches, there is a near infinite number of weapons surrounding few armor pieces.
if this poses balancing issues with mana, you can lower the base cost of armor, as i think thats usually more valuable than weapons.
Use an active summoner. Only armor drops.

that would be a viable option if my towers/traps/auras/minions were strong enough to play the game on their own, but either they arent, i suck at building, or its just not possible with my current stats.
i need a character with survivability and dps out, so i turn to my barbarian.
sure the summoner basically cant be killed if you don't want it to be killed, but i also need to do damage, and that thing just cant live as good as a turtleing and healing barbarian in the midst of 75 enemy + ****d.
there shouldn't be such a high weapon to armor ratio as it stands.
The only reason this is, is because most of the time the weapon sale price is higher then the armor price, so it overruns it and removes the armor piece when the item cap is reached.
The solution is to loot during the wave, rather then saving it towards the end.
I find it's the opposite, with weapons being cheaper than armour, yet I still end up with a 3/1 ration weapon/armour.

from what i have seen, and my memory is bad, armor has by far been more expensive than weapons, but for some reason there are SO many weapons compared to armor. the summoner is a good idea for when you can handle a wave of enemies no problem, but until than, its not a very viable option.
Going active summoner has actually increased my income by quite a substantial sum.
So its not because that weapons are usually worth more than the armor, but is actually due to there being a fixed ratio of weapon drops to armor coded into the game.
