How to? Doing bootcamp and installing windows 7.
I started " Major PC Lag Issues" in the patch forum because I believe it is related to recent patches and changes that were made. Trendy moved it without comment and still won't respond. Pretty poor customer service. They have been awesome in the past, but now is unacceptable. I run a I5 processor with NVIDIA 640 video card (1 gb I believe). I do have 2 controllers hooked in but have tried without them and have the same lag issue. I will again be attempting the game without controllers to prove Trendy wrong with their current ( not directed) claims that it is controllers. They had a issue with controllers in the past that took 3 weeks to fix. Let's hope these issues are resolved sooner. 1.5 weeks and counting.
7.34c which should be out later today is to fix some mac performance issues and sound issues. Please let us know how everything works out after the patch!
I just tried out Oasis MonsterFest with five players or so in total to get their feedback and the issue is definitely still there. Inferno seems to affect the issue the most but even without them there's still a very noticeable lag effect according to those in my game (for information on anything that's known so far, see my previous post).
I would also like to add the issue doesn't start until the second the mobs start taking damage from anything, so it can be fine the first 8-16 seconds at the start of the round before they get attacked.
Just tried NM Mistymire, went from wave 5-8 and then the lag/stuttering/sound glitching started again. Unfortunately, not fixed. I feel i should point out that I'm also not playing on a Mac....
Intel i3-2310M Quadcore
Intel HD 3000
4GB DDR3 RAM
No lag for me, Which makes me laugh seeing all the people with higher specs having problems. xD
I have the same issues -.-
Specs are :
Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1100T Processor (6 CPUs), ~4.5GHz (tried OC and stock, same results.)
Memory: 32768MB RAM
Hard Drive: 6 TB Total
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 590 x2 SLI (Running 301.42 Drivers)
Monitor: 24"
Sound Card: ASUS Xonar Essence STX
Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_rtm.101119-1850)
Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair V Formula AM3+ AMD 990FX
Changing settings don't make a difference, FPS wise, Ram usage is only thing that changes.
800x600, 1024x768, 1280x 720, 1920x1080, Same results, Build phase, fps 60+ Combat phase 22-35 Even only 10 enemies on the map
Cpu usage In build :
And In battle :
^ 10 percent CPU usage difference -.-
I do play with a Xbox 360 Wireless controller, As some posts said that makes a lag issue.
Monsterfest, 12 fps, >_>
@Bellina if you have any ASUS OSD or Gamer OSD or any ASUS special software for your video card uninstall it. That is the #1 cause for people who have amazing machines like yours with terrible FPS. I know you didn't state that your video card was ASUS but by guessing your other selections, just maybe lol
Yeah EVGA cards, Got them when they just came out. Nothing installed but raw drivers, The OSD stuff is insignificant to me. If it was only that simple![]()
I guess I should also note that I had used a generic game pad using the xc360 program (whatever that emulation software was) as well as attempting use Vjoy, but I've since Uninstalled both programs, and made sure the controller wasn't plugged in. Still the same results. I've also checked to see if I had Either OSD programs installed, and I have neither.
