Dungeon Defenders II game Status:
Does anyone know what the attack speed cap is on the Magic Missle Tower is? I have my Tower Speed at 200 and it doesnt seem to go any faster.
yes the apprentice on console caps out the attack rate at a certain point but im not quite sure when

I think it caps at .17 or .16 because I have around 516 Tower Rate and if I increase it to 600 Tower Rate, it doesn't change.
oh yeah ace, been meaning to ask you that question cause i saw your tower app had like 500+ atk rate and i wanted to know if they were like PC-esque speed haha
Not sure where this 500+ attack rate is coming from, but I did a trial, respecing my build to max tower rate, and it did minimal change to the magic missile tower; the DPS increased slightly, but hardly worth it. The DPS to the fireball tower and deadly striker towers didn't change at all. Bottom line, based on what I saw, there's really no point to increasing tower attack rate. The only time I've ever really seen the attack rate change dramatically is with a Huntress Guardian. The change is significant, and very visible.
Yeah, it's no where near pc specifications. I was kinda disappointed when I saw that there was little to no change in the attack rate even if I had 500+ Tower Rate stats.
