event pet question

I have both mentor and lil carnage but when i equip my mentor, it does around 12k each shot but the lil carnage only does 11k even though my mage has higher hero base dmg stat than my monk. can anyone explain what is happening? i know mentor and lil carnage has same base dmg... is it glitched or sth?

is your mentor doing 12k per shot with or without hero boost?

the monk is always going to be better with pets thats how it is on PC my sea horse does 89k on my squire with no gear and does 122k with my monk with out gear its just the monk

No. Its because ur hero damage isnt the same. Animus are affected by hero damage.
