new characters/dlc in total conversions?

I've been searching the forums for a while now so as to avoid duplicate questions, but i can't find anyone asking my specific question. I'm not good at all this re-writing code, but my brother messes around with the source code and makes some pretty cool total conversions. I use to play with him on his TC's, but now i have the new maps and new characters and he cant get dlc to work on his TC's. So my question is this: does the newer dlc just not work on a TC, or is there an option or some code line somewhere to enable dlc?

This thread ( http://forums.trendyent.com/showthread.php?t=47534 ) is not very old. Not exactly a definitive answer but Alhanalem is active on the modding forums (and also a forum moderator, though I don't think that makes a difference).

Anyway it seems like the answer is no.
