Pet upgrade costs outrageous

The upgrade costs of pets is too high. I'm all for mana sinks in the game, but having a pet with 250+ upgrades and the costs getting over 80million mana per level is just absurd. Could we get a change to either decrease the exponential scaling of upgrade costs past 200^ or a max upgrade cost per level at some point. ( example upgrade costs increase until level 150 then remain at 30mil per level )

exp is free so its NOT a mana sink.... save the mana for your armor.

Im going to go with a no, on this one, since your pet levels as long as its in the wave with you, yes you can spend mana, but you might as well just let it hover above your head and level on its own.

It may take a long time level several different pets to very high levels, but it's an automatic event. Just use the pet instead of wasting all your mana trying to level it. Maybe kickstart a pet for about 10 levels, but after that, you shouldn't use mana on a pet.

Granted this has been the rule on PC for a long time, pc players are used to it. I think it's only a very recent change on the other systems. If you aren't on pc, then you will just have to get used to pets taking time instead of mana to level.

Experience based pet leveling is good for the first 20 levels or so. You let me know how long it takes you to level a pet to 300^ without investing any mana into it.
