I haven't played DD in a day or two and logged on to find out I'm having graphical issues all of a sudden. I've changed options around and what not but can't seem to fix this.

By chance is your video card dying? Try some other graphically intensive games and see if the same thing happens.
I hope it's not dying O_o, but I just took a look at Portal 2 and not seeing any issues at all with my graphics.
A friend has seemed to found out the issue because it happened with them to. A recent AMD Driver update is what caused it. So just doing a Roll Back on the driver fixes it. Guess there is an issue with DD not liking the new AMD drive update.
