Dungeon Defenders II game Status:
the larger issue i have is djinn that get stuck in walls where they still have LoS and are in desummoning range of towers but towers cannot hit them. happens way more often than it needs to on karathiki and city in the cliffs.
the problem is the collision and "stuck" mechanics of mobs more often than not. when mobs bunch up, something in the game code is resetting their location, and a lot of times that location reset does not completely take into account geometry collision, probably because a certain part of it allows for overriding, thus why walls get pushed into geometry.
another issue is the actual collision box size of many of the mobs. they are insanely small, to allow for masses of them to be in one place at the same time, but because they are so small, there are many "cracks" in the geometry they can be forced in to, causing situations like listed above, and ogres walking over walls, and kobolds completely ignoring walls.
