Uber Monster Fest needs more time like shipyard monsterfest.
I have not been able to do NMUMF regardless of where I place my towers.
I always run out of time regardless of the part of the map I build at.
I've tried building at the center of the map, top right corner, bottom left corner, on the center of the bridge, at the bottom right corner, the center of the ramp at the left side of the map.
I always run out of time.

I dont use gas traps or ensnare auras, I just use harpoons and lightning towers, but I am trying to do it with 8 players. I mean for the map allowing up to 8 players, it would be a waste if it is only doable with 2.
Try doing it solo or duo. You should only have problems when you add more players as the mob scaling is fairly high and the map is fairly spread out
most of the time if you are running out of time and losing due to that, it is through no fault of your own, and you are just being slapped around by the spawn AI for any of the maps. however, if you are using gas traps or ensnare auras or anything else with the intent of holding back swarms of enemies, you should stop doing that asap. just re-appropriate the DU to something else to help clear the trash mobs, like proximity mines.
I have worse stats (slightly, not significantly) and before they added 2 minutes or whatever I was finishing with 2min or so on the last two waves Duo. Can't speak to 8, but it seems like you're using a poor build.
I use ensnare on one end and gas on both ends of my build and still have no issues with time. The first wave I have to run and kill a couple kobalds, but still finish with around 30-40 secs
They're pretty inefficient DPS normally, but lightning towers are a time saver for UMF, and with stats like that, you shouldn't need all the DU anyway. They'll clear out trash mobs at incredible range and keep spawns flowing.
This. Although when you have 12-16 lightning towers together they are doing uber DPS to all ogres at once, even halfway across the map. Their DPS is considerable when clustered and render djinn and sharken useless on Monsterfests. (And every other map for that matter)

I second the lightning tower use. Moreso if you "are" using gas traps. The sooner you clear the trash monsters, the sooner the spawner will spawn the next set. I haven't really had any issues with time in UMF1 and my stats are a whole lot lower then yours.
The hardest you can do is 4 people, since according to TE neither time nor mobs should scale past 4. Buffed LTs and harpoons will do the trick. Now if you're actively trying to carry 8 people without them helping in any way well maybe that shouldn't be possible anyway, if you want more speed just monk guard instead of buff beam your LTs and they should practically spawn camp everything.
