    Nerf to Glitterhelm Insane XP

    So yesterday I was farming Glitterhelm on Insane for about 2.4 Million XP a run. Today I'm only getting about 1.7 - 1.6 Mil per run. What gives? Nothing in my build changed. I'm still getting the 1.3X bonus for no core and no player damage. I'm also completing it in about the same time. So I know its nothing on my end. Why the sudden nerf to XP?

    u do realise that doing city in the sky insane hc gives u 11mil ep per run dont u gliterhelm is useless these days for gaining ep with a ok builder u can build city in 2 waves and afk all the way to the end

    Insane HC Aquanos gives 1 million per wave too.

    I didn't realize that. Thanks for the tip! What kind of gear do you need to be doing those? I have an App with around 500ish, a monk with about the same, and an EV with 400ish. Would that be enough to solo?

    Edit: I also realize I didn't have on HC so ignore the OP.

    yeah, insane aquanos survival is where its at for EXP. with those stats, im not sure how far you could get. i know when i did it i was around 900ish on my countess and 750 on my monk and it was pretty easy as long as i kept the strength drains repaired.

    [edit] do it solo though. the mob count hovers at like, 800 for the longest time, and they rush in waves of like, 150 at a time, so it goes super quick. when you do it with a group they just straggle along and the waves start to cap at 3200 pretty early.

    1.6m vs. 2.4m sounds like the difference between hardcore being turned on or not. Hardcore gives almost an extra 50% exp.

    Also always go xp runs in Survival. The experience is exactly the same as campaign if you start at the same wave and go thru. But you no longer have to build your defenses every 10ish minutes. With the SV wave mob count nerf a while ago, its far superior then any campaign leveling. When your build fails then you just make a new one. Glitter SV from waves 5 to 25 is about 14-16m in 45 minutes. Aquanos SV to wave 30 is about 26 million in 70-90 minutes.

    Nerfing the most popular method of leveling in favor of DLC-only solutions would be my guess.

    DLC-maps already had better xp. Glitterhelm being better was a long-lived misconception for some reason. MM/Moraggo/Aquanos/Karathiki/City in the cliffs have always given more exp. They are just harder to get lower wave-time bonuses on so you don't see the more exp until you are past a certain threshold that most people weren't yet past. (I.e. If you are still in the leveling process at all, glitter is probably better exp because you havent started working on gear yet) With gear threshold the way they are, people work on trying to be able to get into good gear before worrying about leveling so they don't tend to get to see how much more exp DLC content is actually worth until they are already done or close to done with leveling. (Less people will be worried about leveling to 83 for supremes than used to be worried about 78 for trans so the problem will be less noticable now)
