Some host is insisting we all use guardians and buff beams because they stack, but IIRC they don't.
Thanks!

Dungeon Defenders II game Status:

They don't stack and the strongest takes effect. The Initiates remote defense boost also works the same.
Typically a Guardian beats the other 2.
The single highest buff of each type applies. Note that this means if, for example, you have a guardian that buffs damage by 300% and a buff beam that increases damage by 200%, the guardian overrides the damage buff, but not the other 3 buffs. Unless you have other guardians overriding those too.
Monk's Defense Boost stacks with anything except another Defense Boost; Initiate's Remote Defense Boost follows the same stacking rules as Guaardians and Buff Beams.
Great, thanks for the info guys! I will be breaking out my DPS pet.
they can still be effective guardians, dingle pretty much narrowed it down of how it works
but i just tell people to use dps pet instead of a guardian
