Your ranges were probably coming up short because buff beams were not fully upgraded yet. Try dumping all available mana into buff beams when your build is done. at least to single star.

trap range is 869 and buff beam is 787 - everything was fully upgraded since we started at wave 12 and up to wave 25 everything was fine
guess we gotta get those stats to 1k+
perhaps or maybe just a slight adjustment on your trap positioning is all that is needed. i'm sure you can fiddle with it and get it working just fine.
Just making sure, on the alternate build is the north trap supposed to be a inferno trap or proxy? I just wasnt sure because a proxy would be better in my eyes or is there a reason that its inferno?
Its an Inferno. There are no mistakes in the build. Yes there are reasons to use infernos over explosive.
Hey Kandar, so me and a friend have been tryin out your numerous builds the last couple of days but we can never seem to make it passed wave 24. The latest build you have has worked the best but for some reason the ONLY reason we lose is because of the right wall in the north keeps getting hit by sharken. It happened nearly 4 times throughout 6 waves. Each time I replaced the traps to be further out and made sure the inferno was slightly farther out than the gas but it still continued to happen. Any suggestions?
Whats the reason?Yes there are reasons to use infernos over explosive.
Something you're doing must be very different. What are the stats you're working with on your trapper.
Look closely at the North mobs as they bunch up. Are they staying backed up or pushing well into the infernos effective range and not dying. If a manshark gets pushed too far west (from north) then it may have very good LoS on the blockade while inside of charge range.
positions for everyone will be slightly different for all maps and builds now because of different trapper stats. It shouldn't be possible for a shark to charge once he is in the effect of the gas. Charge has a windup that takes a lot longer then the reset timer on the gas trap..
Make sure your gas trap's effective range is reaching the north fence.
the trapper is around 1k for hp, dmg and radius and 800 for speed. I believe that the traps were placed exactly the same as I saw on your pictures too.
Those are low. also could be a large part of your problem. 800 damage is nothing. Try finding some upgrades and aiming for 1400 to complete misty. Your trappers value is just as great as your countess' in this build.
I'd keep running misty until you wipe and find some upgrades.
