I like it. Wouldn't it be kind of awesome to find an accessory for each slot (and a weapon/armor for their respective slot) with no stats in them? You could be level 83 and running in gear with no stats.
No it doesn't. IT doesn't need any stats. These things aren't meant to have high stats. They're for visuals, to make yourself look cooler or sillier, in addition to your costume. It's not useless... If they want cosmetic items, they need to ALL have 0 stats.
As soon as you have an item with stats, the one with higher stats will always be better than the other ones.
I would much rather wear a +50 checkered pink cube (the common placeholder model) rather than a really awesome +0 item.
Regardless of not being "meant" to have high stats. It STILL has stats.
They were always implimented to be cosmetic, the stats are just a minor addition so that TE can give people that don't care about cosmetics a reason to use them too. What would be the point in adding three extra stats item slots? None what-so-ever.
You are not required to wear these if you don't want to but personally I love the change. If I like the look of a mask with +10 to stats, i'd use it over one with +20. Why? Because +10 to a stat makes no difference what so ever :P
Guys, even Eggs have 1 point to defense. That makes no sense, when we can pick up a facemask with no stats.
