all i see with misty are people saying all the way to 30, but than their stats are insane, makeing most of the builds for it i see almost impossible to handle.
im not looking to get to wave 30... i just want to get to wave 23 where i use to be.

Dungeon Defenders II game Status:

what are your stats
besides the squire, not a single stat over 1300
the ev is 1800-1900 hp but that's about it, it can decently boost.
the squire is i believe hp1300 dmg1400 speed1800 range1200
most setups i see have a squire with 2300+ dmg as a defense, but that wont work with me
or they have reliance on trap dmg, but i doubt my trapper has over 800dmg (i focused more on range and rate)
or my favorite, the auras that need to be massive, but i cant get the range high enough to cover more massive areas
same here =(
Not wanting to be rude, but these stats look like some serious Charlie Foxtrot in leveling your gear. I think it would be best to aim for equal level gear first and level that with a focus towards damage. If you dont build walls on your squire 1k life is enough, same for range speed. All the rest goes towards damage because the damage stat has far less diminishing returns than speed.
Build is kinda complicated without a halfway decent auramonk & trapper. Pretty much every high wave survival build uses slows and a darkness gas proxy combo in front of the wall. Perhaps you should try farming AlchLabs for some gear so you can get your aurabuilder to 1k hp & range and your trapper to 1k hp, damage & range.
monk is - 1350 1050 1050 794
trap is - 1300 900 700 800
squire - 1400 1500 1480 1750
ev - 1950 1000 450 1350
and my dps
barbarian - 1287 1400 153 922
again, im not expecting to get to end wave misty with these, i just want to get back to where i was at.
right now i cant find better gear outside of misty, and i have went to end wave nightmare hardcore prior to the shrinking of wave size, i just cant find anywhere that gear that is even remotely usable drops outside of misty.
im getting a mage up for the propose of replacing the squire, because current misty builds i make have blind spots that a mage could easily hit.
what happens when you tried my build with those stats? You meet the only real requirement of 1k monk range which means you can do the exact build.
For it to function, you'll just have to push your traps out a tad farther to make up for the lack of range on your trapper which is 300 different then mine.
In most cases you can supplement the shortcomings of tower power with skillful play.
yah, yah, only to a point, but you can!
Take advantage of appropriate guardians to beef up your weaknesses. Create a Monk + guard + boost. Keep your map open and chase down sharken and repair ogre beaten walls. Learn the pattern of the mob rush and map layout. Note your weak areas, etc...
Nobody flame me, you WILL eventually need high tower stats for end game, but good gameplay will get you a lot further than you think!
Again, no flaming, however, I'm not a superstar. But I see some results and other players tell me of dying and not being able to play up to certain levels and their stats are higher than mine!
Above all, it's luck. One day you'll be at the right spot at the right time and the planets are aligned and you win![]()
id have to say the main problem with my build and the ones i try is just not reaching far enough mixed in with the sharks getting through.
than the ones that have an over reliance on traps to one shot or come close to one shot spiders, i cant do that, they take out the harpoons (well slow them) and by the time i realize what happened, map over.
some of what i said is pre shark and higher wave, but the main problem right now is that there is always a shark that gets through, and im screwed when that happens. if i had a bit more range i could probably get some extra du...
when i get done with the getting the mage to 78 so i can gut my squire, ill try your builds first, i think the reason i never did yours much was because i found a different build that has more of a focus on range dps, and with the ogers from 20-23 being as high of hp as they are, i needed more range dmg
It may be easier to change your gear level... than it is to change a build to fit it.
There isn't a single piece of amazing gear that you can't acquire at level 1. You dont need good gear to grind mana. Farm enough mana to buy pieces from the AFK shops and upgrade them. Then go farm better gear.
We all WANT to do the highest, most rewarding thing out.... but if you didnt put in the work to prepare yourself, its just not possible. No, the people with 2300 tower attack power dont have "amazing stats"... thats average for a person that has invested any time in really preparing their toon for NMHC content.
