    Hero Run Speed: Can we get a new function?

    So, if I recall correctly, hero run speed caps at, what, 100?

    It's pretty close to impossible NOT to end up with at least 100 (or in my case, 700, since everything I have seems to have ZOMGRUNSPEED!), which makes it an exceptionally useless stat beyond playing through maybe medium or hard.

    So, what could we do instead of having run speed stats become useless after that cap? Seems to me like there shouldn't be any stat that is absolute garbage beyond a very low threshold. Everything else has a purpose at high levels, so why not this as well?

    Any thoughts on potential changes? I see Jer has been all over this kind of thing, and I don't expect it to be a simple change, but taking another look at it would be nice.

    Maybe it could slowly increase your weapon attack rate.

    Rename it Hero Speed
    Make it increase attack speed and run speed
    ???

    I would like this as long as it has an EXTREMELY small ramp up. I'm talking something like 100-200 points = 1-2% faster attack speed, Maybe less.

    Maybe just make it so that every 10 points above 100 adds +1 to all stats (In my head I'm counting 10 total stats, right? Four hero, Four tower, two powers?, so every 10 points would be +1 to 9 other stats). This would mean you get *something* out of it, but they'd still be wasted on a lot of stats, and since you'd get 9 points for every 10 in it, it wouldn't be efficient either. It'd basically just mean you get a small bonus from it in case you have points in it you just can't get rid of.

    Or just lessen the duration of webs if anything. Every point over 100 decreases web's duration on the player.

    Or have webs decrease run speed by a set amount, so if your total is still over 100 you still move at full speed, and higher level spiders cut it by higher amounts.

    So the duration stays the same, but having high enough run speed can save you from webs (especially on lower levels).

    I'd also like to see Assault go from a flat speed cap, to a high percent decrease on run speed so that high enough run speed can help you there.

    I agree. I like the idea of the attack speed, but every 100 - 1% ratio is a little too big.

    This would be a brilliant use of over-100 on this stat (as well as perhaps speed in water), +1

    I'd prefer the hero speed over lower duration of a web. It's not like it's hard to dodge them.

    It could be converted to 100 points equals .75% attackspeed, so at 1000 a hero would attack 7.5% faster. Not gamebreaking, or especially overpowered to those that have 2 - 3.5k stats.

    As they would get around 20% faster attackspeed. However in some cases that would result in them chosing that stat over another. Still making them on par with people that prefer going damage instead for an example.
