Question about Accessories

What do you have to do to get them to drop? Ive already done Aquanos to unlock the mermaid outfit, and ran a few other maps including some NM HC ES. Just curious to see if they need to be unlocked, or if they are just really rare and I'm unlucky.

Edit: Got my first one on wave 23-24 of a Hall of Court Insane Survival right before I logged off for the night. And its decent looking but garbage stats..

So its just another grand time-sink that only the more hardcore players will be able to get and use? Just what I love in my games, excessive grinding to actually be able to enjoy them. Very lame Trendy

My kids & I tried City in the Cliffs for the first time tonight. We were playing on medium. We got 4 Accessories; two masks and two bracers (I think bracers, not certain...)

Unless you mean high quality Accessories, it seems that they aren't THAT hard to find. Alternatively, the RNG could just be playing with me...

From the 10 or so I've collected so far I wouldn't really bother grinding for them, all the ones I've found in NMHC survival wave 20+ have had pretty average stats, better armor would yield better boosts to stats IMO, especially since there are so many negs going around .

Also WTF is with trendy and their clear obsession with the squire/countess? Shields to exclusively make the best class even better? FFS where's the love for the apprentice? From watching the new vids for aquanos it's pretty clear trendy downright despise the apprentice

There doesn't appear to be high quality accessories. They're mostly just visual customization. I don't think I've seen one with more than 20 ups or 20 in any single stat, with a total of maybe +50 across all bonuses - so their difference gameplay wise is minimal. Still a neat little addition, even if all the masks seem to be ugly - at least I get a feather in my cap.

I can pretty much confirm that they're 99% there for cosmetics. I haven't gotten any higher drop rates or better accessories at higher difficulties. The best one I have came from insane, one of the worst came from hardcore nightmare mixed mode.

1) Play games of Aquanos Insane HC = ~15m mana per game.
2) Click "Show Shops"
3) Find Shop selling Accessories
4) ???
5) Profit

They did mentioned super-rare high quality accessories, which I imagine simply have the same drop rate as supreme. And I'm sure high quality still won't be massively overpowered.

As for squire-exclusive accessories, they also said they'd be bringing exclusive ones for other classes along soon.
