    Did anyone ask..."Is this fun?"

Every time a change or map goes in, this should always be the first, as well as, last, question asked.

Aquanos, the map, is it fun? Yes. Interesting layout. Not overly big. Spiffy mechanics. Good geometry. Nicely done.

Sharken, do they make for interesting or fun game-play? Not as they are, so no. If a tower gets pushed into geometry you have to restart. There is no recovery, since you can not even sell the tower at that point.

Tower no longer can be targeted. It is basically not on the map anymore but is using up your DU still.

For some specific examples others have had http://forums.trendyent.com/showthre...ible-locations

The ability to move back your towers would really help clear up the remaining problems people have with sharken. Since the nerf I haven't really noticed them except during the final waves of a match.

the sharken definitely make the game more challenging, and that can be a good thing. but in my opinion, the game is no longer enjoyable -- it's gone from "fun" to "**** im sick of dealing with this ****"

While you are right that towers and defenses getting shoved behind walls to untouchable spots is bad. That is just something that has to be fixed.

As to whether the sharken are fun or not. Well for you, they apparently aren't, but other people are having fun still. They aren't destroying the game because while plenty of people are saying, plenty of other people are looking at those posts and replying telling them to do better and they won't worry about the sharken anymore.

It's completely true, even before nerf Sharken were handled. Now that they are nerfed, you have better chances of being ready for them. When they do get additional balance, and the defenses stop being pushed the wrong way, things will be going much better.

What exactly is fun about not worrying anymore? That is the problem with Sharken. Either they are a complete non-factor or a one-hit-game-ender. That is not interesting. Interesting is somewhere in the middle.

Spiders infuriate me, but I like what they bring, I like that I have to worry about them but have methods I can use to mitigate the damage they cause. Djinn annoy the hell out of me, but they are interesting. They exist in the middle ground between pointless and OP. Sharken will never hit that middle ground unless some mechanic is introduced to mitigate their charge attack after they have begun it. Whether that's a way to interrupt it or a way to undo the damage they cause, mid-round, without needing the active builder on the map. One of those two things makes Sharken awesome. Anything less and they are lame and not worth dealing with.
