2 pages of ads before we can even play the game

I'm all for supporting DLC and such, but this is getting ridiculous. I don't need to see links to all of the new stuff when I launch the game, nor do I want to view a full page of Challenges I don't own when selecting maps in my Tavern. Maybe once on startup, this would be acceptable. But not every freaking time I want to play

I already own everything except for the stupid costume pack from PAX, which I do not ever intend to buy. Can we at least get the items we DO own removed from the stupid advertisements?

That would only exempt a small percentage of the player base, has to be all or nothing.

Glad to know I'm not the only one getting really annoyed by this. At this point, I have taken to simply leaving the server menu open and alt-tabbing, though I still have to rifle through a page or more of Challenge maps I don't own

Are you serious? Glad to know you'e not the only one that's getting irrate at the fact that the developers of a PAID game have decided to make it into a giant SPAM fest before you're ever allowed to select which character you want to play in?

It was all good before, when the DLC was hidden in the menus and if you didn't own a particular map pack or character, there was a link to get it. Now I feel like TE is literally FORCING their damn DLC packs down my throat any time I wish to play their little game.

Freemium gaming and micro-transactions might very well be the death of gaming.. I dont know enough to say for sure, but I do know as a customer they piss me the **** off. and yeah, that's a pejorative i used there, deal.

I really hope the devs stand up and take notice, and more people make their voice be heard on this issue if it pisses them off too. STOP SPAMMING THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE ALREADY PAID YOU MONEY!

btw, I was thinking of making a thread myself about this topic the other night when I logged onto DD and rage quit at the SPAM TE was throwing up. I really hope enough people make a stink about this so that something gets done.

    Overreact much?

But, stupid comedy aside, I don't see how pressing the "close" button two times is really that bad, I think you guys are just trying to target something to hate about
