Best Squire Weapon?

Hey all, I was wondering what the "Best" per say Squire/Barbarian weapons are?
I'm looking for something with straight up (generic preferably) damage!
looking for two nice weapons for my Barbarian and Countess!
Mythical items are most preferred, but any info would be great!

Frosties are nice for generic damage they also have one of the fastest swing speeds backstabbers are nice too but are generally pretty small reach wise

Frost blades are the best for now let's see what shard 3 and 4 give us weapons ^_^

It's a toss up really, Frost Swords are generally the best, but a Demon Sword is a much harder hit, If you're fighting a boss and looking for the best weapon for that? Demon Swords the way to go, that goes for any big anymore. Mobs, generally a frost blade will do the trick best. =)

I'm using a Pinioner atm. I don't have amazing stats but I'm getting easily 200k dps (with +459 Hero Damage) with my Pinioner not yet fully upgraded (185/202), though it does have Lightning Damage too.
Also with Squire Tower stats of ~350+ Death From Above (where it drops) is easily soloable on Nightmare Hardcore. Just make sure you have lots of speed to get around fast enough to keep defences alive again Ogres on final waves Or if you have a friend who can help you it's a joke. I can post the strat I use if need be, though I'm sure there is better around somewhere!

I personally chose the vanguard line of swords for my squire. I like to hit really hard, as our special attacks really draw off of having as much physical damage as possible. The vanguard line of swords are moderate swing speed but have very high upgrade levels for swords, 120^ max per upgrade. With blood rage and circular slice I can do 7m damage on a dummy with only a moderately good trans vanguard with 260 ish upgrades. I have avoided frost swords because normatively they have lower upgrade levels, lower max upgrades and usually poor stats unless you can get one from an endgame map which is rare. While frost swords can be powerful, I would not rule out other more common blades as a squire can take full advantage of there higher damage potential vs the speed of the frost sword.

Edit: Needed to edit this, I am doing quite a bit less then last night as some of my gear has changed.

Personally I dig the Duelist blades like the Rapier that you get from the Demon Lord. Those are my favourite. Got duals for my Barb. My Countess has a Tower duelist blade and my Squire uses it too.

Particularly look wise, those are amazing.

The best sword in game is Crystalline Greatsword, Achieved by completing Eternia Shards last mission, Crystalline Dimension.
It also shoots, yes a sword that shoots! I did NM on that lvl got a lvl 87 and fully upped. Does easy 1m DPS. im not surprised about dps, im surprised about them for an upgrade 87.

The next sword is a Ice Blade/Frost Sword, dont worry both are the same thing!! If you are going to get this sword i'd preferbally use 2 of them same length. Try to get them long! if you get this sword easially do 100k dps with no upgrades (myth)

The best way to aquire this sword is doing Sky City survival. I got a 2 ice swords basically every round, even a couple of trans although i was playing NMHCMM. Only way to get this sword is if the host has done Holiday Extravaganza medium difficulty +


And 3rd one is Sea Swords/Tidal Blades just like a frost blade only shorter. Aquired by doing Aquanos.

No hate about my choices but if you had a crystalline sword you will know that one is best. Also my barbs dps is 14.6m so dont think the strongest swords are always best choice because i dont use any special swords myself

304 per upgrade on generic damage makes this thing a beast. I got one with 234 levels (mythical) and it ended up above 51k generic and 6k ranged (with +3 projectiles). Non enrage it does above 4.5 mil dps.

It also is fast as lightening.

The steam saw from beating sky city is another good option. It has 369 damage per upgrade and a reasonable swing speed. And you can get pretty good ones from insane hc.
