Dungeon Defenders II game Status:
I have a suggestion: Make Piercing Shot chargeable by holding down the button. This would allow the Huntress to become very useful against Ogres, Djinni, and bosses.
hears for a hero damage scaling buff for everyone but monk, monks is crazy... 1k hero damage makes my pets do 25-30k on everyone exept monk is 60-70k...
Just had another idea. Invisibility increases Hero speed, thus allowing Huntress to outrun Ninjas. Dunno how viable this would be on smaller maps, but seems less overpowered than 'works against all monsters'. Thoughts?

Doesn't fit with being invisible - normally, you'd assume that moving faster while sneaking would make that sneaking less effective, because you're not being careful and make more noise, etc.
Going on the vein of things that fit sneaking, it would make more sense for Invisibility to grant a damage bonus against monsters that can't see you - it's hard to defend yourself against attacks that you're not aware of, so they'd be more effective, yes?
It's either that or switch piercing shot to a buff with a cooldown, and during the buff all attacks gain piercing (with appropriate damage multiplier bonus, probably scaled down somewhat from the current piercing shot.) Basically, trade your weapon for a bow with infinite piercing, single shots for a time, like EV's charge beam replaces her weapon with a flamethrower-like one.
...I guess I'm trying to say I want the Huntress to get a personal damage multiplier buff like Blood Rage and Hero Boost, one way or another.
Save the Huntress!
Huntress does indeed need more love. She use to be the *DPS* character and I would like to see her some what return to her former glory. It would be nice if her invisibility gave her a significant damage boost, otherwise give back her 1 second cool time for pierce shot.
Also the class itself is pretty much nerfed weapon value wise. With a higher chance of getting a negative in a vital stat, such as reload, projectile speed, sps, clip size. It's hard enough to get a good gun, but nothing's worse then having a supreme/ultimate drop which is unusable.
I just find it annoying how she's suppose to excel at range, but other classes out match her in every aspect. However I will still continue to use her for end game material regardless.
Done with Hacked Defenders.
Bring on DD2.
The fact is monk just has it all, he has HP something app and hunt DON'T have, he has melee something app and hunt DON'T have, he ALSO has alright range, something that squire DOESN'T have, which makes his extra HP not as important. He even has nice speed. not as fast as hunt but still fast. AND he can up the damage of others around him and towers around him. AND THATS NOT IT he can slow enemies down like hunt's gas trap but much better, he can do fire and lightning damage like hunt's inferno trap and app's lightning tower, respectively. add those up, he is the best choice one can make. they made him the best at nothing which made him better than all because he doesn't have any cons.
This will be my last bumpity. Then the thread will fall into the abyss of pages past, and Monk will forever remain the only viable DPS Hero for endgame stuff.
