So since you're messing around with the camera anyway, any chance of making the death cam into full on free view instead of the stupidity it is now? (Basically fix it so moving the mouse propperly changes the direction you are facing, rather than just changing movement direction based off where you should be facing.)

...and on Freelook Spectator, shift will still bring up the map as well as slow movement, right? Or can we get those on different keys?

The way death cam works now is exactly what you would expect from freecam, except your viewing angle doesn't change when you move your mouse. Unfortunately the axis you move on does, which is where the confusion comes from. What he's saying the change will be if you press jump, you'll get out of the limited death cam, and into true freecam.
