    [Guide] Mistymire Forest (Spider Queen) Solo [Squire+EV]

    Wanted to contribute back to the site since I've used so much information here to progress through the game.

    Here is my newer, updated layout:

    Picked up a lot of build spots from looking at survival setups with a mix of campaign setups. Didn't find any Squire/EV only setups, so I decided to try my own. I play with my countess, and use EV to swap in and build walls, reflects, and buff beams.

    After two failed attempts from Djinn desummons/bad setups, I came out with the above victorious on my first Spider Queen kill in NM so far (didn't try HC yet, but I never died).



    I listed the detailed steps in the layout, but here's a copy of my player stats used to complete the map:

    Active Countess: 950/1250/500/450
    EV: 550/900/450/550

    Only pet used: Companion Cube
    Weapon: Myth Frost Sword (14808 damage)

    Hope this helps someone out there.

    Either a mistake on my part (mouse moving), or it saved incorrectly. It should be horizontal across the bridge but on an angle to use 5 DU. I'll try to fix it. I know ddplanner is going through some changes and updates currently though.

    Brilliant. I'd been able to get to the Queen just fine before, but my reliance on Ensnares always meant that I had to spend too much time doing upkeep around the map to be able to keep up with repairing the wall the Queen was attacking solo. This worked perfectly.

    There's always a djinn that spawns in the east and desummons everything. The worst part is that he gets stuck within the rocks which renders him immune to my harpoons. Is there anything I can do about that?

    Glad the build worked for you guys, the ddplanner page should be fixed as per the first comment above (the one EV wall was weirdly sticking off the map).

    If you find any weak points you were able to fix with just the above 2 classes, feel free to share. I know for me, it was all about finding the right spots for harpoons in the north so that djinn wouldn't desummon around corners.

    It took me three tries, but I just beat her. Tbh, I could never get the EV towers number correct, so I have like 5 du left over, not including the the proton I added at the end.

    Also made some slight adjustments that help me better as well.

    As with any MistyMire build, the bouncers are the weakest part, but what else is new?

    When the boss gets enraged at 1/2 health, it wouldn't be a good idea to leave the spot, so what I did I did was go and repaired EVERYTHING at like 30 mil health. Then ran back in my spot and camped the rest of the time.

    3 harpoons worked fine for me, so 4 or 5 harpoons are completely optional, unless you think you need it. Overall solid build, especially for solo with players with (like me) low end stats.!

    Yeah, I have a build I tried in survival where i actually put a buff tower between the 2 closer bouncers, lol! It's pretty funny. Experimenting with new builds is half the fun. Try something out of the norm' and sometimes you end up with something that works.

    Only problem I had was the south harpoon behind the crystal kept getting webbed. I wasnt watching close enough to know for sure, but at a guess I'd say it was spiders from the north drop point (the unprotected one by the shroomite) webbing the bouncer on the east point, allowing a few through.

    Wasn't really an issue other than repairing that harpoon and bouncer lead to a couple close calls on the Queen's wall after she started rageing.
