Feel free to make your own poll titled "Should polls count when developers are making decisions about their games."
Just a thought.
If you were discussing the content of the poll it'd be one thing. You're not. What's the point of having a discussion thread for a poll if it's not to discuss the poll, exactly?
I haven't been. You're the only one still discussing it.Seriously though, if you're not interested in discussing it with me, don't discuss it with me.
Noone else has been. Just you.Don't keep telling me to stop trying to discuss it, because I'll happily discuss it with anyone else,
Riiight. That's why he told us to respect each other opinions. And sorry, but I haven't made any personal attacks. If you feel you have been personally attacked, my bad. I'll try to take your sensitivity into concern in the future.and only moderators have the authority to determine if it's off-topic for this thread.I interpreted the "the topic of the thread seems to have been lost" from the moderator to mean "get back to talking about the poll and EV, rather than making personal attacks like trying to place motives on why people might be making the responses they are."
I never ordered you to do anything. Only requested that you do. I'd appreciate it if you'd stop trying to drag up a discussion noone but you has expressed any desire in and especially trying to bait me back into it because you weren't happy with my answers. Once again. I've dropped it, why can't you? The mods shouldnt have to tell you what is on-topic, off-topic. Most of us can take a hint when one has to step in and say 'Stop it..' though. It's incredibly self-absorbed to assume you were immune to his warning just because you felt like you weren't included even though he was clearly talking to the two of us and only the two of us.If that wasn't the moderator's intent, if the mod will say what is and isn't off-topic on this thread (and where it would be on-topic to discuss whether or not a poll on the forums represents valid community opinion on Series EV) I'll happily move there. Until then, you don't really have the authority to order me to stop discussing things, and I'd very much appreciate it if you would stop.
Never told you not to post here. Only not to attempt to continue an argument with ME that I already said you won. When the person you are arguing with gives up? You won. Whether you like it or not. You. Won. Accept it and move on. If anyone else decides they want to have that discussion with you, they are more than welcome to. My only complaint is the attempt to bait -me- personally back into it. You act like just because I posted again that somehow noone would see your previous arguments about it. It's out there. We all know about it. And if anyone wants to argue it with you, they are more than welcome to. I have no qualms with that. One thing that's definitely off-topic for this thread is trying to tell other people not to post here since this thread isn't about any particular user, or the right to post.
And I will go with the opposite. I don't need any explanation of why as I can understand my own faults and know I'm breaking the rules. At least I'm not too self-righteous to admit it.As a note to moderators: If you do feel I deserve an infraction, I'd very much appreciate an explicit explanation of why. I've read the forum rules, and don't believe I'm breaking them, so they may need some clarification if I am so that other (and myself) may avoid doing so in the future.
It's not a difficult concept. When a mod has stepped in, you've probably broken a rule. Or else they would have just let it fly. You're the only one who seems to think his comment was directed at only me when I was the one trying to say it was my -opinion- to begin with and the mod made a comment about accepting each others opinions.
Funny that.
I accepted your opinion on the matter a long time ago, so it's time to put on the big boy pants and accept mine. [/will probably be considered a personal attack]
