    PC or PS3?

I've already purchased the game for PS3, but after alllll the technical difficulties and bugs that the console version of this game has my roommates want to play it on PC instead. My question is whether or not I should make the switch. Rebuying the game and all the DLCs is going to be pretty expensive considering I already bought them all once haha.

    Opinions?

I was a PS3 player back in January, decided to make the jump in Feb.

There is so much more content in PC, I haven't regretted the decision.

I think PC is the way to go. It's well supported, and I think there are more people playing on average. I'd say just pick up the content you need as you go, and maybe wait for a sale otherwise?

Is it worth the 60+ dollars I'm going to end up spending to rebuy all the content though? That's my only qualm with the decision. IT's going to end up being a 90+ dollar game lol

I don't think I'd spend 90, no. It is fun though. You might wait for a bit, they often put it on sale on Steam and/or Amazon. If/when you do buy, make sure to get the Shards Complete Pack. It's the same price as the 3 released parts, but it also includes part 4. Steam doesn't do a good job of showing that, since where it lists what's included it does NOT list the unreleased part 4.

The one thing I miss from the PS3 version is having separate accounts on the PS3 (with their own set of characters and their own item boxes). It made playing splitscreen with my kids much nicer.

Try the PC demo, if your PC can handle it well, then get the full version. It's just far superior in every way on the PC

Go to www.systemrequirementslab.com. This will tell you if your PC/laptop can run that specific game. You can just type the name of the game in the box or browse there list of games which DD is in that list.

The PC version is much 'better' of a game overall but there is almost no economy/market.

The markets on the PS3/xbox can atually be trusted and you don't have to fear every little player shop. But they are also constantly behind the PC version on content and will never get some of the more optional content.

Overall it's just what you prefer more. A more featured, 'hacked' version of the game.. Or a less featured, more legit version.

Hmm you guys all bring good and valid points to the table. I think I'll have to ponder it a while longer before I make an sort of decision though.
