Points not being added to defense damage boost on recently acquired pet

Hello. On a recent pet I acquired, an Apprentice Guardian, every time the pet levels and the defense boost procs, I try to add a point to the stat. However, every time I do, the point is taken but a point is not given to the stat. However, when I add a point to the other stats(tower damage, tower attack rate, etc.) it adds with no problem. Help plx!!

Can you post a screenshot of this guardian? If this is on Ranked, can you send me a profile link to your Steam account in private message? I'd like to take a look at the guardian directly if possible.

It's a known issue at the moment(which I just added to the list to make sure others know) that we're looking into. As for your current pets, if we did fix it so such guardians couldn't drop like this way the fix wouldn't be retroactive.

This is probably related but I noticed that when using the Pro Upgrade System on pets (maybe just guardians);
normally you would use Pro, hover over a stat and it'll display the new value should I click on it. However I recall trying to level up a guardian and every time the Range stat become available to upgrade, I'll hover over it and the value will remain UNCHANGED, however clicking on it still upgrades it properly.

So the only way I can get out with no loss (bought this companion) is to sell a pet that is known as buggy? Yay
