Recently I was playing a game and etc etc after a few maps I was given a pretty sweet staff not really thinking about it i had been using it for the past day or so until I stumbled onto some threads about hacked items and such the item in question was a mythical with everything at 300 stats so im assuming it was a suss item.
Now having assumed it was a hacked item I've since vendored it and replaced it with a new staff the question is does so much as unknowingly using a hacked or edited item result in VAC banning ? if so I think I might avoid ingame trading and receiving unearned loot assuming I don't already have a ban on the way that is ...
